Three-particle entanglement from entangled photon pairs and a weak coherent state

Abstract

We show that a three-photon entangled state can be selected from the product state of an entangled photon pair and a weak coherent state. An experiment producing about 20 counts/sec of three-photon events can be extrapolated from existing results
