Abstract
This chapter makes a case for trade union support for a new wave of co-operative development and charts some of the early instances of collaborative working in this regard framed by the Preston Model. We argue for closer affinities between the trade union and co-operative movements in pursuance of mutual interests of renewal and reinvigoration.
