Abstract

Topic Study Group 29 (TSG-29) addressed preservice secondary mathematics teacher education. Its aim was to engage participants in sharing and discussing significant new trends and development in research, theory, and practice related to the various aspects of the initial education of secondary mathematics teachers. This report includes the themes of the TSG, overview of the TSG program, themes of the presentations, and future directions for research.
