Abstract
We use a computer model to explore optical trapping and binding in skyrmionic optical beams generated from pairs of focused Laguerre-Gaussian beams. An initial study of the behaviour of trapped spheres is extended to include bispheres. Absorbing particles bipherical particles will couple to the changing polarisation in the skyrmion and will experience a spin-torque as they orbit. The binding and dynamics of multiple particles trapped in skyrmionics beams will be examined.
