Abstract

A tunable microwave quadrature-phase splitter is presented which offers phase and gain balances of +/-3° and +/-0.3 dB over at least 16% bandwidth within the frequency range 1-2 GHz. The technique is suited to I-Q balancing in transceivers for optimum signal (de)modulating or mixing
