Unconventional Coherently Precessing Spin States of Superfluid Phases of Liquid 3He and Antiferromagnetic U2D2 Solid 3He

Abstract

New coherently precessing spin states in superfluid A and B phases of liquid 3 He and antiferromagnetic U2D2 solid 3 He are described. These unconventional dynamical modes are stabilized in the states with nonequilibrium value of the magnitude TeX of the nuclear magnetization. Especially interesting regimes are developed at one half of the equilibrium magnetization (M = M0/2, M0 = χH0). One of such exotic dynamical modes has been recently observed in 3 He-B.
