Abstract

We provide an empirical analysis of job mobility with heterogeneous firms and employees. Inference is Bayesian. The results indicate an unobserved hetero-geneity at the level of the individuals, and even more influential at the firm level. Furthermore, assortative employers' and employees' unobservables have a non- negligible impact on matching.
