Abstract

Professor Paul O’Prey joined Roehampton University as vice-chancellor on 1st September 2004, the youngest UK vice-chancellor in what was then one of the newest universities in the country. In conversation with Dr Lesly Huxley, he reflects on the positive path travelled with staff, students and governors in his first three years and on some of the potential challenges in the HE landscape.
