Abstract
Role: Joint senior/corresponding author (co-wrote grant and paper; all electrophysiology conducted in my laboratory). Importance: First characterisation of the ion channels mediating cation entry into human microvascular endothelial cells in response to Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor (VEGF). Shows channels to have TRP-like characteristics and that VEGF activates recombinant TRPC3/C6 channels.
