Abstract
The recent Institutional Web Management Workshop (IWMW 2006) was a rare opportunity to try out a few new pieces of technology. With events that occur at a different location each year, it is often difficult to do so, since the infrastructure at the venue may not be suitable, and it is difficult to liase effectively with technical staff at the venue before the event in order to put all the necessary technology into place. It may also be difficult to test significantly before the event, meaning that it is unwise to publicise the expected availability of the service Since the IWMW took place at UKOLN's home at the University of Bath, an effort was made to look into possible technologies and take full advantage of the opportunity.
