Abstract
Architecture design extensions for Time Shared Optical Network (TSON) are proposed for mobile backhaul. It introduces higher rates, flexible sub-lambda or lambda modes of operation, and dynamic memory allocation facilitating infrastructure virtualization and reprogramming.
